Electric Flux__challenge
We have a rectangle of dimensions a & b. We put a small point charge of charge q at a distance z from the midpoint of the rectangle, so that the charge is on the symmetry axis, perpendicular to the plane of the rectangle and which goes through this midpoint.
Find the electric flux of the point charge through the rectangle.
When you are done, cover the charge with rectangles from all sides, that is but the charge in the centre of a rectangular block of dimensions a,b,c. Does Gauss' law get fulfilled here?(dont get frightened by the integrals, they arent so hard. THe end is beautiful though
